Beverage Cart / Halfway House Attendant

Position Summary:

The Beverage Cart / Halfway House Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members and guests by providing food and beverage offerings throughout the golf course and halfway house. Under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage, this role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining product availability, cleanliness, and a professional demeanor at all times. The attendant upholds The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s mission, values, and service standards in daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (only to guests of legal drinking age; ID must be verified as needed).
• Offer and serve light snacks and refreshments from the cart and halfway house.
• Accurately handle monetary transactions and maintain sales records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked beverage cart and halfway house.
• Greet members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude; provide prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues with the cart promptly to management.
• Perform daily check-ins at the halfway house (morning, midday, and end-of-shift).
• Assist with inventory control and restocking as needed.
• Support banquet and special events when required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Work Environment:

• Work is primarily outdoors and includes exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Fast-paced, energetic, and team-oriented environment.
• Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and move quickly for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be at least 21 years of age (to serve alcoholic beverages).
• Reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in bartending or restaurant service.
