BHC Youth Lounge Supervisor

Beacon Hill Club is looking for fun, energetic candidates who enjoy working with children and engaging them in exciting activities. The Youth Lounge Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, guidance, and safety of Beacon Hill members, ages 4 – 12 years old, within the Club’s on-premise Youth Lounge. The Lounge is open to members on Friday, Saturdayand Sunday evenings from 5:30-9:00 pm.

Education and Experience:

- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

- Prior experience working with children preferred

- 1 year of experience leading and supervising group activities is preferred

Core Competencies and Expectations:

- Provide a fun, safe, and educational experience for all children while enforcing safety rules & policies

- Must be enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, level-headed, flexible,e and calm in all situations

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels, including parents

- Work cooperatively with all club staff

- A clean and professional presentation in attire and comportment are necessary

Job Tasks and Duties:

- Supervise and engage with children in a fun and positive, but professional manner

- Plan/organize and lead designated activities and games each week

- Maintain a safe environment and uphold Youth Lounge safety standards at all times, including constant face counts

- Secure and submit all incident reports or schedule changes to the Clubhouse Manager

- Report all immediate concerns to the Clubhouse Manager

- Complete required training and/or certifications

- Ensure Youth Lounge is clean at the end of each shift. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Walking and standing for extended periods of time

- Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift to 25 pounds

- Proper application of first aid techniques
