We have immediate openings for a full-time and part-time Behavioral Health Technicians who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference for our clients.
Full-time position available:
Overnight position (7pm to 7am)
Part-time position available:
Saturday and Sunday (10am to 10pm)
Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:
Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
Provide direct supervision of children in care and maintain line of sight at all times.
Provide oversight during recreation, mealtime, leisure time and play.
Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
Responsible for maintaining clean, hazard-free environment in common areas, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. .
Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
Responsible client documentation.
Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
21 years of age is required
Experience working with children and/or adolescents in a inpatient program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
