As a psychiatric physician assistant, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.

Job Description:

As a psychiatric physician assistant at Mar Y Sol Mental Health Experts, you will:

-Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients.

-Prescribe and manage medication regimens for patients.

-Maintain accurate and complete medical records in a timely manner.

-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

-Utilize electronic prescriptions and medical records for efficient patient management.
 

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

-Must hold credentials to prescribe medication in Connecticut.

-Comfortable working with adults, and minors.

-Strong dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

-Openness to working in-person appointments with some telehealth options.

-While we encourage and value your independence, our adult psychiatrist maintains an open-door policy, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds active Connecticut Physician assistant license
• Experienced in treating children, adolescents, and adults
• Comfortable with hybrid  both in-person care /Telehealth and electronic health records
• Interested in or experienced with Spravato treatment
• Values autonomy, collaboration, and compassionate care
