The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central Illinois. We’ve been family-owned since 1963, with 13 dealerships across the region. We employ nearly 700 talented individuals and recently celebrated 60 years in business!
We are currently seeking to add to our pool of On-Call Drivers to assist with transporting company vehicles between stores, completing dealer trades, delivering auction units, and providing shuttle service for customers as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for retirees or anyone with a flexible schedule who enjoys driving and experiencing a wide variety of vehicles.
Shuttle vehicles between Leman locations
Deliver vehicles and/or paperwork to clients, ensuring all required signatures are obtained
Pick up and deliver dealer trades with accompanying documentation
Transport auction units to and from local and regional auctions
Complete additional driving assignments as requested by the store manager
Represent the Leman Automotive Group with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude at all times
Valid Illinois driver’s license
Clean driving record with no restrictions
Must be insurable under company insurance policy
Ability to enter and exit a wide variety of vehicles safely
Reliable, punctual, and courteous demeanor
Drives may range from local trips to out-of-state runs
Drivers have the flexibility to accept or decline any job offered
Scheduling will be accommodated based on individual preferences for distance, hours, and locations
This is an on-call, part-time position — you’ll be part of the Leman team and on company payroll
Compensation: Hourly (minimum wage) — but the real perk is getting paid to travel and enjoy the open road!
