Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Part-Time Contractor

AXIS International Academy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our student support team on a part-time, contract basis. The BCBA will provide expertise in assessing student behavioral needs, developing individualized Tier II and Tier III behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure consistency and progress.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct direct observations of students identified for Tier II or Tier III behavioral supports. 
• Collaborate with the Behavior Coordinator, teachers, and administrators to design individualized, research-based behavior intervention plans. 
• Provide training and consultation to the Behavior Coordinator and classroom staff to support consistent implementation of plans. 
• Serve as a point of contact for families regarding their child’s behavior plan, maintaining communication and providing progress updates. 
• Adjust and refine intervention plans as needed based on ongoing data collection and student progress. 
• Document observations, interventions, and plan adjustments in alignment with school procedures and professional best practices. 

Qualifications 

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). 
• Experience working in a school setting or with children ages 3–12 strongly preferred. 
• Knowledge of Tiered Systems of Support, including Tier II and Tier III intervention strategies. 
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, administrators, and families. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Position Details 

• Part-time, contract position (hours flexible and determined by student needs). 
• Reports to: Head of School, with close collaboration alongside the Behavior Coordinator. 
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience. 
• Contract period: 2025–26 school year, with potential for renewal.
