BODYBAR Pilates is a fitness boutique franchise that teaches pilates using the BODYBAR method in multiple locations across the United States. We focus on bringing a spirit of CHEER to all we do as well as to be the industry standard in the way we deliver our classes. We are always looking for dedicated and positive individuals who are passionate about health and wellness to join our team!

We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be opening our second studio in Vista in January 2026—and we’re looking for founding instructors to help us launch this exciting new location!

Job Summary
The BODYBAR Instructor is directly supervised by the Fitness Manager or Lead Instructor. The successful candidate possesses a dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a particular passion for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR clients.

What You’ll Do

Deliver safe and effective Pilates-based group fitness classes

Follow the BODYBAR class format and teaching methodology

Engage with members before, during, and after class to create community

Provide feedback and guidance on movement and alignment

Communicate studio policies, class packages, and promotions

Secure substitutes when unavailable for assigned classes

Qualifications

A passion for health, fitness, and exercise

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of basic anatomy

Prior Pilates/fitness experience preferred, but not required

Complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-out

Training & Certification

To become a BODYBAR Instructor, completion of our 200-hour BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Certification is required. This comprehensive training includes anatomy, teaching principles, apparatus work, and hands-on practice. Instructors are responsible for the cost of the certification ($1,600).
