Brand Ambassador

Summary of the Role:

The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for building and strengthening Maitri’s relationships with dispensary accounts within their assigned territories. They will assist the sales/marketing team in exceeding their sales goals. This is a field position that requires consistent communication, organizational skills, administrative clarity, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain awareness of market behavior, knowledge of all aspects of the industry and sales trends, the competition and ability to communicate and drive a successful sales
• Attend in-store pop ups, customer appreciation events, grand openings, and other promotional events. Recap your experience and report statistics to the Sales/Marketing department.
• Properly set up and break down equipment for pop ups and events.
• Establish strong relationships with budtenders, customers, and receive feedback on products.
• Generate sales through education and product knowledge- train staff /educate customers on the Maitri brand and products.
• Create educational materials of different strains, the GP, etc.
• Ensure compliance by submitting to marketing collateral the department of Health (DOH) 
• Sourcing of promotional and marketing material
• Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
• Create content for Maitri Genetics and Medicinals by request content creation using graphic design and photography vendors
• Create product reviews
• Education shared drive updated for wholesale partners
• Establish  and develop wholesale partner relationships
• Perform all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned 

Qualifications: 

• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and personal and professional accountability
• High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
• Comfortable working under constant video surveillance
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies

Physical and Environmental Requirements: 

• Ability to work up to 10 hours a day and rotating shifts  
• Ability to travel frequently
• Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays  
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds  
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday  
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time  
• Extended computer usage
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
