Breakfast Bar Attendant

Delta by Marriott Utica is seeking a motivated and friendly Breakfast Bar Attendant to join our team in Utica, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a pleasant start to their day by maintaining a clean and well-stocked breakfast area, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with food preparation and replenishment as needed. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment with competitive compensation.

Breakfast hours are 6:30am to 11:00am daily. Our breakfast attendant shift starts at 5:30am to be ready to start at 6:30 and typically will end around 1pm.  On Friday's and Saturdays the restaurant remains open for lunch. 

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar during service hours.


• Ensure food items are fresh, well-presented, and replenished in a timely manner.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area and dining space.


• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, addressing questions or requests promptly.


• Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe food service environment.


• Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or issues to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.


• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.


• Willingness to work early morning hours and weekends as needed.
