Position: Brewery Tender

Department: Taproom and Events

Reports to: Taproom Manager

Pay Status: Hourly wage plus tips

FLSA Classification: Non Exempt

We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the service industry and providing exceptional customer service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving craft beer and alcoholic beverages and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere for guests
• Educate visitors about our products, company and culture
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages and filling growlers for customers
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and taproom area
• Ensure that all drinks are served to the highest quality standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• Check identification to ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures
• Adhering to safety practices
• Maintaining vendor and customer relationships 
• Perform tasks in the POS system (Arryved)

Requirements

• Preferred experience as a bartender
• Preferred knowledge of garnishing, and serving drinks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
• Physical requirements able to assist in lifting and moving kegs up to 165 lbs
