Position: Brewery-tender

Department: Taproom

Reports to: Taproom Manager

Pay Status: Hourly wage plus tips

FLSA Classification: Non Exempt

Location:  Millvale

We are seeking a skilled brewery-tender to join our team.  As a brewery-tender, you will be responsible for the full customer experience.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the service industry and providing exceptional customer service while serving craft beer and alcoholic beverages ensuring that our guests have an overall enjoyable experience.  If you are a passionate person with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere for guests
• Educate visitors about our products, company and culture
• Maintain a clean and organized bar, taproom, and outside property
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages for customers
• Ensure that all drinks are served to the highest quality standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• Check identification to ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age
• Adhering to and following all safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures
• Maintaining vendor and customer relationships 
• Perform tasks in the POS system (Arryved)

Requirements

• Weekend availability a must
• Preferred experience in customer service, preferably in the service industry
• Preferred knowledge of garnishing, and serving drinks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
• Physical requirements able to assist in lifting and moving kegs up to 165 lbs
