Clinical Nursing Instructor - BSN Program (Medical-Surgical Focus)

Position Overview

As a Clinical Nursing Instructor in our BSN program, you'll guide nursing students through their clinical rotations, providing expert mentorship and ensuring the successful translation of classroom theory into practical patient care skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing students in clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and simulation laboratories
• Facilitate hands-on learning in vital nursing skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and EMR documentation
• Develop and implement evidence-based teaching strategies aligned with BSN curriculum objectives
• Provide constructive feedback and formal evaluations of student performance
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities and academic staff to optimize clinical learning experiences
• Maintain current clinical competency and professional certifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; MSN preferred
• Current, unencumbered RN license in state of practice
• Minimum 3 years of direct patient care experience
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical competency in medical-surgical nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
