Job Description - Budget Analyst (PT)

Primary Functions:

Provide comprehensive financial management, data, analyses, recommendations, and/or services that result in accurate, timely and effective support, enabling the financial and execution success of the Program Manager and the overall programs.
Ensure executable spendplans are built in CSPT to match requirements developed in OPOM and approved by leadership.
Provide justification during execution for variances from monthly spend plans to benchmarks.
Identify any assets or shortfalls with associated impacts across programs, which will allow for proper realignment of minimal Navy resources to protect program health and meet warfighter requirements.

Education/Experience/Skills:

U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance
Requires extensive knowledge of Navy-ERP execution processes and ability to pull various reports for review by leadership. Tracks obligation and expenditures on a regular basis and provides data to leadership for determination of potential realignment of funds.
Responsible for preparation of Work Assignment Agreements (WAAs) as required for funding documents. Ensures appropriate signatures are received and WAAs are attached to documents as required.
10 years’ experience leading teams preparing program acquisition documentation
Navy Surface/Air Harpoon Maintenance to combat usable assets and configuration management experience.
