Building Repair and Groundskeeping

The Joplin 44 Truckstop is currently seeking a Building repair and Groundskeeper to join our team! We are looking for a very positive, CAN-DO person to fill this position. This position is inside and outside. Must be able to work in cold and heat. 

You could be responsible for:

Painting- inside and out

Carpet Shampooing 

Outside Trash Clean-up and pulling weeds 

Helping Lift when needed 

Light Building Maintenance 

Filter Cleaning 

Snow Shoveling 

Plumbing is a PLUS

Requirements:

• Excellent leadership skills including the ability to work with all types of people
• Sense of urgency at work and commitment to keeping building and grounds in tip-top condition
• Must be always committed to 100% safety
• Ability to work hands on, and alongside staff
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. 
• Have PRIDE in your work

Responsibilities:

• Work outside for an extended amount of time regardless of the weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver's license 
• Plowing and shoveling snow during winter conditions 
• Power washing
• Picking up and dumping trash
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area 
• Mowing
• Weed eating
• Painting outdoors
• Power washing driveways and sidewalks
• Landscaping
