Bus Driver Part Time - Non CDL

Description

Drives parish school bus to transport students to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists students as necessary to enter and leave the bus.
• Keep order on the bus during operation.
• Loads and unloads baggage or luggage (if necessary).
• Keeps bus clean and in proper operating condition.
• Make minor repairs or adjustments as needed including checking tire air pressures, checking fluid levels, and keeping a truck logbook.
• Monitoring times for oil changes and other maintenance due dates in coordination with the Facilities Manager.
• Keeping accurate mileage log and trip log for periodic review and audit.
• Perform a pre-trip inspection before starting each route and notating it in log book.
• Perform other duties that arise or are assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a clean drivers license.
• Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
• Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
• Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
