We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager in our Irvine office.

EwingCole is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives with a focus on Science & Technology market. This role is essential in identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships, and positioning the firm as a leader in these sectors.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities with a focus on the Science & Technology market.
• Represent the firm externally, spending the majority of time building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
• Track business development opportunities via Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Research prospective clients, upcoming projects, market trends, and industry intelligence.
• Initiate and schedule client meetings to uncover project goals and partnership opportunities.
• Build and nurture a strong professional network in the A/E/C and S&T industries.
• Engage actively in relevant client, industry, and professional organizations
• Actively involved in professional and community organizations, including SMPS.
• Work with marketing leadership to assist and coordinate internal/external communications, awards submissions, promotions, etc.
• Work with professional staff to develop proposals, scopes of work and consulting teams.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures
• Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods
• Team player and collaborator also able to work individually
• Self-Starter with proven ability to proactively engage with leaders and facilitate discussions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both efficiently and in an organized manner

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous experience working in the A/E Industry
