Busser, Part Time

Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking hardworking professional Part-Time Bussers. Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties; clean equipment, sweep floors, clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas, return clean dishware to proper storage areas, wash and clean dishware or pots & pans as needed, assist cook in preparing meals when needed, and deliver food trays to designated areas. Keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies. 
•  Attends and participates in department meetings and in-service training.  
•  Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the department.  

Food service experience is a plus. On the job training is provided!

• Medium amount physically demanding work.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check. 
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
• Must possess Food Handler Certification or Serve Safe Certification or obtain same within 90 days of hire. Certification must remain current throughout employment.
