The Café Attendant is responsible for food sales at the Café counter including; taking and fulfilling orders providing professional quick and efficient service, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:

1. Greets customers and takes orders.
2. Maintains excellent product knowledge to answer customer queries.
3. Assist customers with queries and provides solutions quickly.
4. Achieves the sales goals set forth by the company.
5. Processes payments.
6. Follows up on orders to prevent delays and frustration.
7. Updates the product inventory.
8. Cleans and sanitizes the customer area during quiet times to ensure a neat appearance.
9. Take dirty dishes to kitchen.
10. Perform janitorial duties as needed (cleaning work stations, emptying trash, mopping up spills, and sweeping.
11. Displays a positive attitude and ensures customer leaves the Café satisfied with service experience.
12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
13. Obey all federal, state, and local laws.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Licensure/ Certification: none

Experience: 1-2 years previous on the job experience in food service market
