Cafe Attendant (Coffee Shop / Food Service) Part-Time

 Join the team at Lake Lawn Resort as a Cafe Attendant at the Isle of Capri Café. In this role, you’ll prepare coffee drinks, food items, and provide friendly, fast service to guests looking for a quick bite or beverage on the go.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time 
• Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends) 
• Department: Food & Beverage / Café 

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations 
• Take and process food and beverage orders (cash and card) 
• Prepare coffee drinks (including lattes), cold beverages, sandwiches, and pizzas 
• Serve orders quickly and accurately 
• Maintain inventory levels of café supplies and bakery items 
• Clean and sanitize counters, tables, and café areas 
• Stock and organize kitchen and service areas 
• Balance register and complete end-of-shift cash handling 
• Assist with daily supply orders and restocking 

 What We’re Looking For

• Previous café, barista, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required 
• Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong communication and guest service skills 
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset 
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Frequent use of hands for food prep and beverage service 
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs 

Work Environment

• Indoor café setting within a high-volume resort 
• Moderate noise level 
• Fast-paced, guest-focused environment
