The Cage Manager will supervise cage personnel and activities. Position works between Maverick Casino & Hotel and Gold Country Inn & Casino.

Pay Range $40,000 -$55,000 / per Yr. DOE 

*Housing options available after 90 days*

• Direct and manage all cage team members to maintain a smooth, accurate, efficient, and cost-effective operation.
• Train and ensure Nevada regulator compliance to Gaming Minimum Internal Controls.
• Hire, supervise and schedule cage team members.
• Ensure accurate and secure operation of the cashier cages.
• Oversee guest service standards which are consistent with company’s standards; respond to and resolve guest and team member complaints.
• Develop team member training procedures relating to supervising, cashiering and clerks.
• Oversee team member knowledge of fraud prevention and credit scams.
• Monitor department expenses regarding daily operations and accurate payroll.
• Streamline processes between departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

· High School education or general education degree (GED).

· Previous supervisory role preferred.

· 5 or more years of Casino Cage Management Experience or Equivalent Management Experience.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Gaming Card.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Strong working knowledge of all Cage areas and Casino Cage systems (Everi Compliance, Ticket redemption system, etc.)

· Knowledge of gaming minimum internal controls

· Basic Title 31 knowledge

· Strong knowledge and understanding of fraud prevention and credit scams

· Basic excel and Microsoft email

· Ability to lead and mentor team

· Excellent customer service skills

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs

· Ability to prioritize and organize

· Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgement

· High concentration to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.

· Ability to speak, read and write in English.

· Accurate and attention to detail is necessary for completion of regulatory forms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment.  Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time, speak and hear, write, finger and feel, lift and carry up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) and occasionally more.  Team member frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and endure variable temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold).  Must be 21 years of age or older.
