Pay Range $16 -$17 hourly
Cashier Shift Lead provides friendly, efficient, accurate customer service to guests and co-workers through the process of chip cashing, check cashing, and making simple exchanges. It is a fun job for a public-orientated individual and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given point in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The duties listed below are examples of the work typically performed by an employee in this position. An employee may not be assigned to all duties listed and may be assigned duties which are not listed below. Marginal duties (shown in italics) are those which are least likely to be essential functions for this position.
1. Check cashing (payroll and personal)
2. Chip/Coin usage redemptions
3. Basic computer entry
4. Pit and poker fills, credits and exchanges
5. Slot Jackpots
6. General knowledge of property/promotions
7. Maintain confidentiality (customer and business)
8. Title 31 training/Compliance/AML
9. Safety awareness
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Perform related duties as required
12. JDU Redemption Kiosk Knowledge (fills rollover)
13. Sports Ticket Redemption
14. Cover shifts as needed
15. Perform Arcade Drop
16. Assist with Schedule changes that may occur on shift, i.e. filling/covering a call-out
17. Cover Cage Cashier Position for breaks
· Be 21 years of age and High School graduate or GED
· Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
· Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
· Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
· Outgoing personality, positive attitude strong communication skills, and pleasant/clean appearance.
· Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding.
· Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
· Honesty and Integrity
· Accurate, efficient mathematical computation and cash-handling.
· Record-keeping or bookkeeping skills
· 10-key; office machines; computer/keyboard; internal radio usage; phone usage
· Title 31 Training
· Constant Safety Awareness Training (includes MSDS)
