Capital Market Analyst

Our client, within Financial Services is seeking a Capital Markets Operations Analyst to join their team. You will be part of the Structured Products Group within CIB (corporate investment banking). The ideal candidate will have experience within trade/trading, settlements and excel which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Capital Markets Operations Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC - Onsite

What’s the Job?

• The role directly supports trading and hedging activities across TBA contracts, treasuries, futures, options, interest rate swaps, & CDS Index swaps.
  
• Profit & Loss generation and attribution, exception resolution, project management, position and trade maintenance, and regulatory reporting.
  
• Interact closely with multiple business partners including Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Auditors, MBS Allocations, Business Managers, Project Managers, and our internal TRACE reporting group.
  
• Work with external counterparties, including government housing agencies (Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae), in confirming new Issue requests, exchanges, and assuring trades settle appropriately.
  
• This individual will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, as well as ad hoc requests and project work.
