Job Description - Caregiver

We are looking for good folks who are interested in learning and growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our staff are reliable, dependable, compassionate, and are caring people. Your position with our agency is a job that keeps giving back to you. Working for us also provides you with a sense of calm and personal satisfaction. from helping others!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing companionship and conversation

Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing

Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing

Planning and preparing meals

Providing medication reminders and verbal cues

Providing transportation to and from appointments as a personal escort for clients

Helping with pet care for some clients

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.

Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care.

Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.

Must be reached via phone or email for shift schedules and client updates.

Able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Prior experience is a plus but not necessary. We will provide all the training necessary to prepare you for a rewarding experience.
