Caregiver

Immediate openings available for experienced and professional Caregivers, Home Health Aides, and Certified Nursing Assistants for part time and full time in-home personal care provider positions at Senior Helpers. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, transferring and walking


• Companionship (playing games, talking going for walks with clients)


• Light housekeeping


• Running Errands


• Transportation using clients vehicle or personal vehicle


• Meal planning and preparation


• Laundry 


• Medication reminders


• Working with Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients


• Using a gait belt for client transfers when needed

Qualifications:

• Clear Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA)


• Professional experience as a hands-on, personal care provider


• Empathy, caring attitude and commitment to treating people with dignity and respect.


• Ability to drive or have access to transportation to get to work.


• Valid driver’s license


• Reliable transportation


• Active CPR certification from an in-person, hands-on course


• Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida.


• CEU's for HIV and Alzheimer's


• Able to use a smart phone to clock in and out
