Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a vibrant 36-year-old nonverbal autistic woman in her home and community. This is an immediate opening in **Carrollwood, Florida**, with flexible scheduling options and a supportive home environment.

Position Overview

This role involves providing individualized care and companionship to a woman who is nonverbal and autistic, and who is fully independent with her self-help skills. She thrives with consistent, caring support and enjoys participating in structured activities both at home and in the community.

 Responsibilities

- Provide **1:1 support and supervision**
- Assist with evening routines and companionship at home
- Transport to and from work and community activities using a **company-provided van**
- Support participation in recreational and social activities
- Ensure safety, structure, and a positive daily experience
- Communicate effectively using patience and alternative communication methods as needed

Ideal Candidate

- Experience supporting individuals with **autism or special needs**
- Patient, calm, and attentive demeanor
- Reliable transportation to and from Carrollwood, FL
- Comfortable driving a company van
- Able to commit to a consistent schedule
- Background in caregiving, special education, behavioral support, or related fields preferred
