Caregiver Requirements:
━ Certified CNA certification OR 5+ years of caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
━ Must be 18 years old or older.
━ High school diploma or GED required.
━ Two positive professional references
━ Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every five years for continued employment)
━ Negative TB test (updated every one year for continued employment)
━ Proof of CPR Certification
━ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required per State of MN law.
━ Licensed driver with 2+ years’ experience with an insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
━ Strong communication skills in English
━ Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, pull and push. Varied assistance is required depending on the client's mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
You deliver on the following duties and responsibilities:
━ Creates Happier Aging experiences and client-focused care in home and community settings.
━ Delivers our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families.
━ Assists clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.
━ Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately.
━ Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members.
━ Respond to the Care Designer regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed-upon timeline.
━ Review the care plan before beginning a visit, complete records accurately, and complete all requested assignments.
━ Engage openly with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified.
━ Updates availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with HR/CD to ensure continuity of care for your client.
Availability:
━ Every other weekend is preferred.
━ We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs.
━ Casual / Part-time / Full-time
