Caregiver (CNA/ HHA/ PCA)

Emerald Crest of Minnetonka is hiring a dedicated Part-Time Caregiver (CNA/ HHA/ PCA) to join our team who care for memory care residents in home-like settings. In addition to generous benefits, and increased wages! 

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position available working up to 48 hours in a pay period including every other weekend.

Shift: Evenings (3pm to 11pm)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience. $1 shift differential for Evenings.

What does a Caregiver do?

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aide in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitor the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
• Prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA))
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
