Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA)

Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia Community, is hiring Caregivers to join the team in Clive, IA. As a Caregiver at Meadowview in Clive, you will help our residents with daily activities including passing medication. We are seeking caregivers who are team players and who are also comfortable working independently. 

Position Type: Part-Time or On-Call

Shifts Available:
Day 6:00 Am - 10:30 PM (Part-Time)
Evening 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Part-Time)
Night (NOC) 10:00 PM - 6:30 PM (On-Call)

Location: 3300 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, IA 50325

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience.
• Must be Med Aide certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• A passion for geriatric care. 
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
