Caregiver Facility Floater, St Charles West STL County

Description

We are seeking a professional CNA or Caregiver Facility Floater that has a strong commitment to customer service and a genuine passion for geriatric care.  This professional Caregiver will travel to our partner facilities located in Ellisville, Dardenne Prairie, O'Fallon and Wentzville, MO.  The Facility Floater is available to cover designated shifts for absent caregivers. These are 12-13 hour shifts, 3 - 4 weekdays and every other weekend "on call".  This position is prn hourly up to full time hours.  

The Facility Floater excels at building and maintaining positive relationships with both clients and staff, while providing motivation and support. The Facility Floater is skilled in assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, light meal preparation, medication reminders, light laundry, bed linen changes, and offering companionship. They are also dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for the client. The Facility Floater's purpose is to available to cover shifts for absent caregivers.

***Facility Floater Shift: 3 - 4 Weekdays, Every Other Weekend Required, 7:00AM - 8:00PM availability needed.

CNA/Caregiver Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have valid Driver's License, your own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance***
• Must have at least one year of professional caregiver experience preferably with the geriatric population
• Must be able to work with pets in client homes/apartments
• Must possess moderate computer skills, including word processing and data entry
• Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be a “team player” dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude
• Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED;
• Has the ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively;
• CNA preferred, but not necessary;

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
• Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
