ComForCare Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers in San Diego, CA to support children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. If you have experience working with children with special needs and a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on care and emotional support to children with developmental challenges

Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and mobility support

Implement behavior and communication strategies as directed by therapists or parents

Engage children in interactive, sensory-friendly activities

Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications:

Experience working with children with developmental disabilities (professional or personal). Yes, babysitting counts!

Ability to pass a background check

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Patience, empathy, and a desire to work with children

Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California or at least willing to register.

CPR & First Aid certification is a plus but not required

Service Areas:

We are hiring caregivers in La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Coronado, Point Loma, Old Town, Normal Heights, Sorrento Valley, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa, Miramar.

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
