About this position:
McKenney Home Care is a family-owned, W2 Agency providing exceptional care in Lee and Collier County. We are seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistance and Experience Home Health Aides of all levels to join our team! You will provide essential assistance to individuals who require support with their daily activities and personal care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Available Shifts:
- We need Caregivers with open flexible schedules and WEEKEND Availability
Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication reminders, report discrepancies
- Provide patient care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Transferring of patients as needed using proper body mechanics
- Care for individuals with Dementia or memory impairments
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and employees
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide care in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private residences
Requirements:
- Ability to properly lift and move objects or individuals safely
- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or memory impairment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately in English
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance and your own Transportation
- Current or willingness to complete Hands-On CPR Certification
- Current or willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening
- Current (within the last 6 months) or willingness to complete TB Test
