Caregivers Wanted – Senior Helpers South Tacoma

Location: Graham, WA

Pay: $20.50 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience and certification)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Are you a compassionate caregiver looking to make a real difference in your community? Senior Helpers – South Tacoma is now hiring experienced caregivers to support our growing client base in the Gig Harbor area!

We offer flexible scheduling, varied shifts, and the opportunity to pick up additional open shifts at your convenience.

What You’ll Do:

As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you’ll provide one-on-one, in-home care that helps seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. Your daily responsibilities may include:

    Meaningful conversation and companionship

    Assisting with daily activities such as walking, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

    Meal preparation and light housekeeping

    Supporting clients with hobbies like games, gardening, or crafts

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Medication reminders and updates on client well-being

    
    
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

  • 
    

    High school diploma or equivalent

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    CNA or HCA certification (required)

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Must be 18 years or older

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobility

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Must pass Washington State background and exclusion checks

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.  

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Must reside in or be able to commute to client locations in Graham and surrounding areas

    For caregivers providing transportation: valid driver’s license and insurance meeting Washington State requirements
