Caregiver Hospice 3 12 Hour Days O'Fallon MO

AW Health Care is urgently looking for a CNA or experienced Caregiver for three 12 hour day shifts located in O'Fallon, MO, The days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7:00AM - 7:00PM.  We are preferring a CNA or experienced Caregiver with hospice knowledge and knows how to use a Sit-To-Stand or willing to learn.  

AW Health Care CNAs and Caregivers are deeply committed to exceptional customer service and have a true passion for geriatric care. They excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, their families, and fellow team members, while providing encouragement and compassionate support. Key responsibilities include repositioning bedbound clients, assisting with mobility and sit-to-stand transfers, helping with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and providing medication reminders. They also perform light laundry and bed linen changes, and offer meaningful companionship. Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment is a top priority. All duties are carried out with attention to detail, in strict adherence to each client’s personalized care plan. 

Shift Details: Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

(Sit-To-Stand experience or willingness to learn and highly preferred hospice experience).

Requirements

CNA/Caregiver:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license, your own reliable, personal vehicle with auto insurance.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience with Transfers and Sit-To -Stands and helping with stability issues in interview and/or orientation.
• CNA preferred or highly experienced Caregiver that is friendly and outgoing.
• Hospice experience highly preferred. 
• Must be highly dependable and able to arrive to shift on time or early to relieve other CNA/Caregivers.
• Must have one year or more paid work experience as an agency CNA or Caregiver.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended period of time while bending, lifting, standing and being involved in physical activity for a 12 hour shift.
• Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
