Caregiver in Little River

Job Summary: Senior Helpers, a nationally recognized provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at our Myrtle Beach location hiring in Little River, South Carolina. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing non-medical assistance and support to elderly clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical industry with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical assistance and support to elderly clients in their homes


• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting


• Assist with mobility and ambulation


• Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry


• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients


• Observe and report any physical or emotional changes in clients' conditions to management


• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care and activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred 


• CNA certification is a plus


• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Compassionate and patient demeanor


• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
