Caregiver Needed: Houston, TX (77091) Short Shifts - One-on-One/Light Care/Dog Friendly

As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers or CNAs to join us.

We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Houston, TX (77091). This position requires a dog-friendly caregiver who can provide one-on-one, light care.

Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX 77091)
Shifts Available: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Short Shifts)

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care (light care needs).

  
  


• 
  

  Provide transportation for errands, appointments, or activities as needed (insured driver required).

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and track client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship and emotional support in a one-on-one care setting.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.

  
  

Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care setting is a plus).


• 
  

  Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.

  
  


• Ability to pass a background check and reference check.


• 
  

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be dog-friendly (pets in the home).

  
  


• 
  

  Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
