Job Description - Caregiver needed part time for client in Chicago

Caregiver needed for elderly Indian couple in Chicago. This homemakers position requires a person who drives to take the husband to and from medical appointments. The husband is a fall risk, the wife doesn't need help with personal care, however meals and laundry are required for her. This position is starting on Monday, 08/01/25. The hours are 9:00 am-1:00 pm.

While your role will vary by client, it will usually include:

Providing caring and dependable companionship

Light housekeeping

Preparing meals and snacks

Assisting with personal hygiene (like bathing and toileting)

Transportation to and from your client’s appointments and activities

Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client

Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client’s unique needs by collaborating with your HomeHelpers team and your client’s family

Hold a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record

Have a smart phone and email account

Understand the importance of client confidentiality

Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
