Caregiver Richmond, TX (77406) - Parkinson's Care

As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us. We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Richmond, TX (77406).

Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Richmond, TX)
Schedule: Rotating schedule with every other weekend off, 8 AM – 9 PM

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients.

  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.


• 
  

  Prior experience working with Parkinson’s patients preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting.

  
  


• 
  

  Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to pass a background check and reference check.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly clients.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).

  
  


• 
  

  Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
