Caregiver - South Denver/Centennial - 12-hour shifts

Client needs daily care from 9am -9 pm weekdays

Job Summary: The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, safe transfers, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers needs to have experience in a home care setting and the energy and desire to work up to 3 12 hour shifts per week.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Pay

• Compensation: $21-22/hr or based on experience.  


• Bi-Weekly pay period


• TapCheck - Option for same day pay

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and supplements


• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)


• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting


• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises


• Shopping trips


• Light housekeeping duties, meal prep


• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members


• Report any unusual incidents


• Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• CNA Certification preferred


• Previous caregiver experience preferred 


• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification


• Adherence to health and safety standards


• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints


• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner


• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills


• Physical endurance to complete required tasks


• High school diploma or equivalent
