AW Health Care is hiring CNAs or Caregivers that are Spanish speaking to care for a client in their home located in 63368 zip code area. Candidates will need to be available two to three days a week for consideration. 

CNAs or Caregivers need to possess a strong commitment to customer service and a genuine passion for geriatric care. Our CNAs/Caregivers excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, family and staff, while providing motivation and support. The are skilled in the following: assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, light laundry, bed linen changes, client errands and offering companionship. We are dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for our clients. CNAs and Caregivers meticulously follow the duties outlined in each client’s care plan.

Requirements

CNA/Caregiver:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Spanish speaking (bi-lingual) highly preferred
• Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance and willing to do client transportation and errands if requested in Care plan.
• Highly preferred one year or more paid work experience working with the geriatric population or similar care and responsibilities.
• Working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's, preferred.
• Willing to work with pets and smokers in client homes, preferred
• Ability to use gait belt preferred or willingness to learn.
• Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency
• Must have moderate computer and cell phone skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
• Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
