Caregiver/HHA Waynesboro

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support within the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks (laundry and linen)
- Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client's health or behavior.

Requirements:

- Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisting seniors in bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting activities.
- Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent

-Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment with Senior Helpers

- A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
