The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, dressing, incontinence care, cooking, meal preparation and assistance with errands and appointments. Our caregivers work one on one with elderly or disabled individuals in a facility or home care setting.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

  
  


• 
  

  Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

  
  


• 
  

  Collect and document information about conditions and treatment plans as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Report any unusual incidents or changes in condition in a timely manner

  
  


• 
  

  Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

  
  

Caregiver Qualifications

• 
  

  Current First Aid/CPR Certification

  
  


• 
  

  Current negative TB test or chest x-ray

  
  


• 
  

  Active drivers license, active car insurance, and access to reliable transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking 

  
  


• 
  

  Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

  
  


• 
  

  Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills

  High school diploma or equivalent

  Must pass background & motor vehicle record check
