JOB SUMMARY

Join our newest member of the Tooth Family, the Eye Tooth team, as a Cashier, and become a key player in providing exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone. As a Cashier, your precision in operating cash drawers and the POS system ensures that all orders are accurately processed and completed. Your effective communication skills will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers alike. Be a part of our vibrant team and make a difference with every interaction! We are looking for candidates with evening and weekend availability, prior experience, a fast learning ability, the capacity to work well under pressure, and strong teamwork skills. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies.
2. Extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus.
3. Accurately take, ring in, and serve orders to the customers’ specifications.
4. Able to use the POS systems with efficiency.
5. Ensure guest satisfaction with products and services.
6. Conduct all monetary transactions with attention to detail.
7. Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly.
8. Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager.
9. Communicate clearly and professionally with all persons in the restaurant.
10. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
11. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred but not required.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

1. Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
4. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
5. Bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly
6. Work in close proximity to coworkers in a fast-paced environment
7. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
8. Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage terminology
