The Kensington Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Off-Site Catering Server to join our growing catering team. In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with University of Michigan athletes and athletic teams on campus, helping provide outstanding food and hospitality during team events and functions.This is an opportunity to be part of the action behind the scenes of University of Michigan athletics while representing The Kensington Hotel and delivering the exceptional service our guests expect.The schedule can be flexible, with our greatest need for afternoons and early evenings. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, energetic environment and wants to be part of a team that creates memorable experiences.

What You'll Do:

• Attend pre-event meetings to learn the details of each function, including menu, timing, guest expectations, and special instructions.
• Greet University of Michigan athletes, guests, and team members in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally while meeting The Kensington Hotel's service standards.
• Provide attentive service and anticipate guest needs throughout each event.
• Promptly clear dishes and glassware as guests complete each course or meal.
• Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests to ensure they are satisfied.
• Follow all state, federal, and company requirements regarding the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
• Work closely with fellow catering team members and supervisors to ensure events run smoothly.
• Reset event spaces according to supervisor specifications once a function is complete.
• Help with additional event-related duties as needed.
