Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Job Title: Roman Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington

Duties:

• Religious Education Program Management.
• Shall develop a program of study for grades Pre-K through 12, the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), the RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) and the adult faith formations programs.
• Religious Education Reports
• Staff/Office Integration
• Volunteer Management and Training
• Sacramental Programs & Records
• Program Budgeting
• Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Education & Qualifications:

• Shall be a professionally qualified individual
• Preferably having a degree in the field of Catholic Religious Education from an accredited Catholic Institution.
• Shall be registered with and have all required training from the Military Archdiocese program.
• Shall be AMS Certified Catechist and this shall be completed within a year of the contract being awarded.
• Three years of work experience in Catholic Religious Education and has been a Catholic Pastoral Life Coordinator.
• Shall be commensurate with their responsibilities as a Coordinator for JBLM Catholic Community and is expected to adhere at all times to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church in regards to Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture, and the Magisterium.
