Job Description - Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Wichita, KS
Worksite: On-site
Position: Part-time
Duties:

Coordinate Catholic religious education with the priest.
Manage daily operations of the religious education program.
Maintain attendance at meetings.
Submit annual events calendar and budget proposals.
Implement and oversee sacramental programs.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and teaching staff.

Requirements:

Certified catechist of the Archdiocese for Military Services (AMS) or 3-5 years of teaching experience in Catholic Religious Education.
Comprehensive knowledge of Roman Catholic teachings, religious rites, ceremonies, and traditions.
Practicing Catholic with Sacrament of Confirmation.
Preferably possess a Master’s degree in religious education or equivalent, with experience in Catholic theology and catechesis.
Must undergo a background investigation and successful criminal history check.
