Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement Religious Education (RE) for the Peterson SFB Catholic Parish.
• Promote religious sensitivity and respect for other religious faith groups.
• Design and implement Religious Education programming for adults, youth, and children.
• Recruit, train, and oversee teachers, catechists, and other volunteers.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Religious Education program.
• Develop and maintain records of Religious Education activities, training, attendance, and volunteer details.
• Organize and coordinate Religious Education classes and events, including Confirmation retreats and celebrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Catholic Religious Education.
• Word processing skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong theological grasp of the Roman Catholic faith.
