Job Description - Catholic Youth Director

Location: McGuire AFB, NJ
Position: Part-time (24 hours per week)

Duties:

Provide and direct a youth program.
Assess needs for the Catholic youth program with the Catholic Chaplain.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer staff.
Organize and lead various youth activities, retreats, mission trips, social events, and worship services.
Participate in Catholic community activities, including weekend worship services.
Maintain records, develop an annual calendar, and manage program budgets.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of recent experience in youth ministry or a related field.
Proof of education, including two years of college with relevant training or experience in Youth Ministry, Biblical Studies, or Education.
Basic and Advanced Catechist Certification.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for youth ministry with supporting references.
