Catholic Youth Director

Location: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Coordinate and provide Catholic ministry for teenagers and young adults, primarily for the JBER community.
• Conduct weekly meetings for Senior High Youth (grades 9-12) and twice-monthly meetings for Middle School Youth (grades 6-8).
• Organize monthly special events, activities, and retreats for both Senior High and Middle School Youth.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise volunteers.
• Provide advertising, promotional materials, and regular reports to the Senior Catholic Chaplain.
• Maintain records of supplies, materials, and attendance.

Requirements:

• Training in youth work with a minimum of two years of experience in youth ministry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; seminary education desirable.
• Adherence to high moral and ethical standards consistent with the Christian nature of the chapel youth ministry program.
