Catholic Youth Minister Director

Job title: Catholic Youth Minister Director. 

Location: Gulfport, MS 39501. 

Job Type: Part time. 

Duties: 

• The applicant shall coordinate and conduct young adult ministry weekly. Plan weekly young adult ministry support in coordination with the command chaplain. 

• The applicant shall advise the command chaplain on creative and innovative ways to meet spiritual and religious needs. 

• The applicant shall work in coordination with the Chaplain to maintain a flexible work schedule that can adjust to command operational requirements.  

• The applicant shall organize and coordinate day retreats, vacation bible school, and conferences 

• The applicant shall direct annually summer children's VBS program. 

• The applicant shall research, plan and implement bible lessons, speak outs, activities etc. 

• The applicant shall assist students and families in personal and emotional issues by contact through phone, text, Facebook, and other media. 

Qualification/ Education: 

• The applicant must have at least 2 years of young adult ministry experience or equivalent. 

• The applicant must have a high school diploma and some college education experience.
