Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures . The ideal candidate has a current license and at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

Assist dentist during procedures and exams

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)

Previous experience as a dental assistant

Strong computer and data entry skills (Dentrix)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

After earning his bachelor’s degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and his master’s degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, Dr. Bennett went to Boston’s Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to earn his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bennett didn’t stop there, and it shows. As a lifelong learner, he continues to take advanced dental courses and bring the latest dental innovations to his patients at HB Dental. He and his dedicated staff work to make sure every patient receives warm, effective dental care and feels informed about his or her oral health.
